Based on the results of current research and with the intention of constant improvement and actualisation, one of the first projects was the construction of a 3d computer model of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV), a member of the herpesvirus group.<br>

This site presents various images of HCMV showing typical aspects of scientific objectives. Modified variants of these illustrations were reproduced also in other media - these publications are listed in the reference section. A photographic impression of the discovery of the
filoviridae is provided as an interesting preview for the present project.
